Workplace Observation

Don't you just love the type of boss who often seeks out the opinions of his or her subordinates, but never acts on those opinions unless they agree with the course of action that the leader already had in mind?

Why do they even ask if they're going to do what they wanted in the first place?


It seems as though there is an awfully large number of bosses like this in public education.

Maybe the best way to deal with this type of petty autocrat leader is to tell 'em what they want to hear in the first place. It'll save everybody a lot of time...
